Small in Size, Thoughtful by Design: Meet Our Signature Minis

There is something rather lovely about the smallest rituals.

Lighting a candle while you read before bed. Bringing a little natural scent into the bathroom at the end of the day. Creating a quiet moment at your desk between everything else that needs doing.

Our new Signature Mini Essential Oil Candles were created with those smaller moments in mind.

A little way to discover Aycee Apothec

When I first created our Signature Collection, I wanted each candle to feel like more than simply a beautiful scent.

Every blend was developed around its own wellbeing concept, using pure essential oils chosen not only for the way they smell individually, but for how they come together as a complete blend.

Our Signature Minis contain exactly the same approach, simply in a smaller form.

Each 70g candle is hand-blended in Hampshire in small batches, using pure essential oils and 100% coconut wax, with no synthetic fragrance. They are poured into softly fluted ceramic vessels and presented in natural cotton drawstring bags.

They may be smaller than our original candles, but nothing about the way they are made has been scaled back.

Made for smaller spaces

One of the things I particularly wanted from the minis was a candle that felt at home in the smaller spaces we use every day.

Not every moment calls for a larger candle or a room filled with fragrance.

Sometimes you want something gentler beside the bed, on a bathroom shelf, beside your desk or in a quiet corner of the house.

Because essential oils have their own naturally nuanced character, the Signature Minis offer a beautifully subtle way to bring scent into these spaces and turn an ordinary part of the day into a small ritual.

The minis are also a lovely way to explore our four Signature scents before choosing a larger candle.

Perhaps you are drawn to the bright citrus and floral notes of Anahata, the clarity of Kaizen, the soft evening feel of Nagomi, or the pause-and-breathe character of Boketto.

Scent is incredibly personal. What feels calming or comforting to one person may evoke something completely different for another.

A smaller candle gives you the freedom to discover a new blend slowly and see how it becomes part of your own space and routine.

A thoughtful little gift

I also wanted the minis to feel special enough to give.

Their ceramic vessels, cotton bags and small-batch production mean they still have the considered feel of our larger candles, while their size makes them an easy way to introduce someone to Aycee Apothec.

They can be given as a small thank-you, a thoughtful birthday present, a little moment of encouragement — or simply because someone might need a little calm in their day.

And once the candle has finished, the ceramic vessel can be cleaned and reused as a tea-light holder, allowing it to remain part of the home rather than simply being discarded.

The same ritual, just smaller

For me, the Signature Minis are not really about making a smaller candle.

They are about making space for smaller moments.

The rituals that support our wellbeing do not have to be complicated or time-consuming. Often it is the small things we return to regularly that make the greatest difference.

A little moment of calm, wherever you need it.
