[Kai-zen] Japanese

The Japanese philosophy meaning 'to strive for continual improvement or change for the better'.

Acquiring new knowledge and skills makes our lives more interesting, happy and fulfilled. Our Kaizen scent can help you stay alert and improve your concentration to prepare yourself for whatever challenge lies ahead.

Awakening essential oils of citrus grapefruit and herbaceous rosemary are balanced with deep woody notes of Atlas cedar to create an invigorating fragrance designed to revitalise your mood, promote feelings of vitality and enhance your memory and concentration.

Grapefruit

This zesty fruit is the least favourite citrus fruit to eat, but as an essential oil it beats the best of them with over 90% limonene. Cold pressed grapefruit essential oil provides a vibrant and invigorating aroma to our Kaizen blend. As our worries melt away, our brains can wake up to the challenges of the day.

Rosemary

This oil provides the heart note of our Kaizen fragrance and it is made by collecting the leaves and flowers of rosemary and putting them through a process of steam distillation. A fresh, stimulating and herbaceous aroma is created, with small clinical studies endorsing its benefits. Improvements in short-term memory, alertness and cognitive function have been seen if rosemary is inhaled. As with many studies into essential oils, the evidence lack scientific weight but rosemary has been used for medicinal benefits for thousands of years. Why don’t you try it for yourself?

Atlas cedarwood

Atlas cedar is a conifer tree native to Morocco and Algeria. The oil itself is made from the by-products of timber production using the wood chips, sawdust and stumps left over from manufacturing. This warm and woody scent is produced by steam distillation and provides the grounding base note to our Kaizen fragrance. Cedar oil has demonstrated it can evoke feelings of calm, reduce stress and improve mental clarity but more research is needed to prove these claims.
